At first I thought this referred to something legal (law as in breaking the law ). For recent versions it may be something like C:Program FilesIBMSPSSStatistics24 in this folder youll find a tiny program called law.exe as shown below. In that folder, you will see a program called either SPSS License Authorization Wizardor IBM SPSS Statistics License Authorization Wizard. With your authorization code nearby, open up the SPSS installation folder. In your list of programs, you will see a folder called either SPSSor IBM SPSS Statistics. However, for some reason, my system shows that "chmod: IF_LAW_Python_25.sh: No such file or directory" even though the file exists and its location is "/Applications/IBM/SPSS/Statistics/25/IF_LAW_Python_25.sh" as Terminal shows itself. I have spent two hours trying to run it but I am stuck.Īmong the most useful links was IBM's fix file for SPSS 25 on Mac's (link below) which I tried to follow to make the "Wizard" do some magic for allowing me to enter the license code. Had to reinstall my SPSS 25 and currently having a major issue with entering the license code.Īpparently while SPSS 25 can work on Catalina 10.15.3, License Authorization Wizard is a 32-bit program and is not supported.
